Warts have plagued humans for years. Caused by a type of virus called human papillomavirus, HPV infects the top layer of the skin. The virus causes the overgrowth of the upper layer of the skin. There are different types of growth and can grow in different regions also like common warts and plantar warts.
The worst part is warts spread by touch. When you touch the other parts of the body with the same hand you touched the wart, you can get infected. Even using towels and razors of a person with wart can infect you.
The diagnosis can be done just by the physical appearance or by taking a sample of the wart to inspect. We proceed with the treatment based on the location and symptoms of the wart. The goal of the treatment will be to eliminate the wart and stimulate the immune system to fight the virus.
The treatment will include:

  • Strong peeling medicines
  • Freezing
  • Laser therapy
  • Other acids

The treatment is provided depending on the condition of the wart, if the wart is small and rare, we will recommend medicines only. However, in extreme cases, laser and other surgical treatment can also be recommended.
