Pityriasis Rosea

Pityriasis Rosea is a skin disease that has affected almost 0.15% of the population. The condition is also known as mother patches as the patches in this case are large. In common words, these are the big rashes that remain for almost 6 to 8 weeks. Sometimes, it last even longer and the patches are itchy also.


  • The rashes begin with single, oval, and pink patches.
  • The size ranges from 2cm to 10cm
  • With time other patches appear near the neck, back, and arm.
  • Mild itching and inflammation
